Cancellation Policy
Clay Paper Scissors STUDIO parties/private events have a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $100 at the time of booking. Please note the deposit is due at time of booking and the date/time will not be held until a deposit is received. The balance is due at the time of the party based on the number of children confirmed to attend. Payments can be done with Cash, Check, Zelle or Venmo.
Two days before your party we require a confirmation of the final guest count and/or any changes. You will be charged for your final guest count, there is a no refund on no show guests. All additional guests above your guest count will be added to your final balance.
Parties canceled 14 days prior to the party date will be charged 50% of the Party Price. Parties canceled 7 days prior to the party date will be charged 75% of the booked package. Parties that are canceled less than 5 days prior to the party date will be charged the full balance of the booked party to cover the loss of business and cost of preparation of materials. Clay Paper Scissors is unable to make exceptions to this policy for scheduling conflicts, last-minute illnesses or no shows. For weather-related closures that affect birthday parties and private events, we will roll your deposit to be used toward another available date.
Please note, a processing fee will be applied to every refund.
Parties are one hour and 30 minutes. Party hosts are welcome to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled event. We ask that children are picked up at the one hour and 30 minute marker to allow time for us to clean and set up for the next event.
Workshops & After School Classes have a no cancellation policy. The full price is due at the time of booking. There are no refunds on After School Programs & Workshops. Any missed classes as a result of illness, or personal absence cannot be made-up. You are always welcome to send a friend in your place, and we hope that you do. Please let us know your friends name and age at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled class time.
If for any reason, a program needs to be canceled or rescheduled, you will be notified as early as possible and a make-update will be offered. Any refunds due to cancellation or other unforeseen circumstances are processed within 7 days of the time of cancellation.
Summer Camp Registrations are fully refundable up until April 1st minus a $25 processing fee, 50% refunds will be given until May 1st minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellation at least 14 days prior to the start date of camp will result in full credit towards another camp week, if space is available.
